Qigong practice bridges ancient energy arts with contemporary awareness practices — inviting participants to slow down, breathe and reconnect to the living current of qi.

Through intentional movement, sound, and visualisation, Thalia guides each session as a sensory movement meditation — an exploration of how energy flows, balances, and renews the body. Her classes, held in Melbourne and Sydney, offer an approach that uses ancient wisdom to shape-shift through life with ease: accessible to all who seek a grounding and harmonising practice for the mind, body and spirit.

Weekly Practice

Thalia guides participants each week to engage with qi as a living current within the body—working with this natural energy system to regulate their state of being, restore balance, and cultivate flow and centred awareness.

Currently, we practice for 45 minutes out in the wild, in Queenscliff, Northern Beaches. Sessions include Conditioning and Refining forms as well as alternating flows such as the Five Elements‍, Waking The Qi and 12 Rivers and Between Heaven and Earth from Long White Cloud, Small Universe Qigong.

Fridays at 7:45am or when the WhatsApp Group states – contact to be included.

Corporate Sessions

When seated in an office scenario, we can feel stiff, tense and out of alignment. Movement-based healing and regulating practice is an effective way to release stuck energy and promote physical well-being. In combination with one of the most powerful tools used in down-regulation, breathwork can help your team to feel calm and release tension.

Qigong movement meditation that can be a mix of static, passive and active, releases endorphins, boosts serotonin, and regulates cortisol, restoring our sense of emotional harmony. It’s a biological reminder that we are wired for rhythm, flow, and expression — and that stress often dissipates when we return to our natural state of motion.

Effective morning or lunchtime sessions can be 40 minutes, and with no props or outfit change required! Encouraging a better work vibe and sense of ease in the workplace.

Workshops or Retreats

In Qigong, we look to balance yin and yang, passive and active energies. We can introduce and work with a range of systems of Qigong, such as – Dantiens – or oceans of energy within you that act as reservoirs for the rest of your energy system.

Extraordinary Meridians, which flow like ocean currents, keep energy fresh, bringing energy to every part of your body. Or the central flow of energy through your body, which, when healthy and unblocked, brings a constant supply of healthy qi flow.

Organ Meridians that flow like rivers throughout the body, influencing the function of your internal organs, your posture, mental state and your emotions. Layering in associated colour, mudras and sound.

Energy points – also known as acupuncture points and pressure, their structure and function can be activated through Qigong instead of needles.

The phases of the five elements.

Events and Festivals

Qigong can offer something slightly different from a movement perspective, with scope to theme and curate a unique series with your Event or Festival in mind. Qigong is an excellent foundation and support for your broader offering, and can be integrated to suit the tone or vibe you wish with its focus on qi, embodiment and nature.

Qigong complements yoga, dance, breathwork, and other ceremonial modalities like tea, cacao, drumming, to name a few and is not limited to wellbeing and conscious space. It perfectly extends to the broader community, sport, learning and music events that value a conscious crowd. The sessions can vary in offering from a gentle, calming to an energising and resetting, or simply connecting to place, or intentionally used to ground festival-goers in their body at larger music festivals. Ideal for activating mornings, energising afternoons or winding down evenings, creating a healing field and happy, harmonised people or crowd.
